Welded steel platform – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer
The EDX 70 welded steel working platform forms the usable surface of the facade scaffolding during facade, assembly and renovation work. Its load-bearing capacity for a uniformly distributed load is at least 2 kN/m².

It is made of HC260 steel and its components are connected by welding. Hot-dip galvanising with a minimum coating thickness of 50 µm provides anti-corrosion protection. The zinc layer protects the steel against corrosion during outdoor use.
The perforated surface with anti-slip properties improves footwear grip and reduces the risk of slipping. The platform is equipped with round handles that fit comfortably in the hand, making it easier to carry and handle the component during assembly and dismantling.
When comparing the welded, hot-dip galvanised platform with a riveted platform made of galvanised sheet metal, an important difference is the method of anti-corrosion protection and the thickness of the zinc coating. In the described EDX 70 platform, it is a minimum of 50 µm; for the riveted version, this value should be checked in the specific product specification.
You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.
Typical use
- assembling sets
- wymiana zużytych podestów
- upgrading existing scaffolding
