Steel guardrail – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer

The EDX 70 longitudinal guardrail is used to provide side protection along the platforms of facade scaffolding. Installed as a top or intermediate guardrail, it forms part of the protective barrier at the workstation during facade, insulation and renovation work.

The element is made of a tube with an outer diameter of 38 mm. Two variants are available: made of S235 steel protected by hot-dip galvanizing and made of a tube of Z275 pre-galvanised sheet steel. In both versions, the zinc coating provides anti-corrosion protection for the steel surface.

The longitudinal guardrail is part of the platform edge protection system. Combined with the other guardrails and the toe board, it completes the side protection of the EDX 70 scaffolding.

You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.
