Steel riveted working deck – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer

The EDX 70 riveted steel working platform is an economical version of the steel platform for facade scaffolding. It is used to prepare the working surface during facade, thermal insulation and renovation works. Its load-bearing capacity under a uniformly distributed load is at least 2 kN/m².

The structure is made of HX260 steel sheet with a Z275 zinc coating, and its components are joined with rivets. The Z275 coating corresponds to an approximate zinc thickness of about 20 µm on each side of the sheet. This value does not constitute a guaranteed minimum local thickness.

The perforated non-slip surface improves footwear grip. Round handles fit comfortably in the hand, facilitating the handling, assembly and disassembly of the deck. Additional teardrop-shaped embossments help protect the riveted connections by reducing the risk of shearing the rivets during cleaning and tapping of the deck.

Compared to the hot-dip galvanised welded version, the economical variant differs in the method of joining components and the thickness of the protective coating. The riveted deck uses Z275 sheet metal with an approximate zinc thickness of about 20 µm per side, whereas for the described welded deck the minimum coating thickness is 50 µm.

You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.
