Starting traverse – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer

The EDX 70 starting traverse, also called the initial traverse, is used to place the working platform just above the ground within the scaffolding access route. It provides support for the lowest platform from which access to subsequent lifts begins.

A platform mounted on the traverse supports the lower part of the ladder, preventing it from hanging down uncontrollably. This solution facilitates proper preparation of the access to the scaffolding and the organisation of vertical communication from ground level.

The component is made of S235 steel and protected by hot-dip galvanising. Steel ensures mechanical strength, while the zinc coating protects the surface against corrosion during outdoor use. The initial traverse complements the equipment of the EDX 70 scaffolding used for facade, insulation and renovation work.
