Girder traverse – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer

The EDX 70 girder traverse is used to support platforms in layouts that use lattice girders. It allows the working surface of the scaffolding to be extended, providing additional space for construction, assembly and renovation work.

Couplers fitted to the underside of the traverse enable it to be fixed to the lattice girders. This solution makes it possible to connect the platform support to the load-bearing structure of a larger working station and to adapt the layout of the decks to the needs of the work being carried out.

The traverse is made of S235 steel, protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanising. Steel is responsible for the mechanical strength of the component, and the zinc coating protects its surface against corrosion caused by moisture and atmospheric conditions. This encourages repeated use of the traverse in subsequent projects.

You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.
