Steel guardrail post type L – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer
The type L EDX 70 guardrail post combines the function of fixing guardrails on the top level of the scaffolding with securing the working platforms against lifting. The lower part of the element prevents the platforms from lifting, helping to keep them in the correct position while the structure is in use.
Manufactured from S235 steel ensures mechanical strength, while hot-dip galvanising protects the component against corrosion in outdoor conditions. Combining the guardrail fixing and the lower platform securing in a single post makes it easier to complete the top of the facade scaffolding.
The L-type standard is used when preparing the topmost working level for facade, insulation and refurbishment works. It is part of the EDX 70 scaffolding safety system, supporting the correct fixing of the platforms and the formation of a protective barrier at their edge.
You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.
