Aluminium guardrail post type I – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer
The aluminium guardrail post type I EDX 70 is used to install side protection on the highest working level of the scaffolding. It provides a fixing point for guardrails, and the toe board holder makes it possible to complete the protection at the edge of the platform.
The component is made of aluminium and weighs under 2 kg. Its low weight makes it easier to carry, unload, and fit and remove the posts during erection and dismantling of the scaffolding. This is particularly useful when assembling protection along longer sections of the facade.
Together with the guardrails and toe board, the guardrail post forms a barrier that reduces the risk of a worker falling and of tools and materials sliding off the platform. It provides a lightweight addition to the EDX 70 system used for facade, insulation and renovation work.
You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.
