Hoist arm – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer
The construction hoist arm, also known as an adjustable crane, is used to organise the vertical transport of small items onto the scaffolding. It works with a pulley, also referred to as a transport wheel (pulley), enabling equipment and materials to be passed from ground level up to the working height.
It is made of S235 steel and protected by hot-dip galvanisation. The steel provides the mechanical strength of the structure, while the zinc coating protects the surface against corrosion during outdoor use.
The adjustable structure allows the position of the hoist arm to be adapted to the intended method of use. Using it together with a pulley makes it easier to supply the work station and reduces the need to carry small items by hand along the access route of the scaffolding.
You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.
Typical use
- assembly and anchoring of the scaffolding
- matching the facade and the terrain
- completing the set
