Toe boards – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer

EDX 70 toe boards, also known as scaffolding kerbs, complement the side guardrails on working platforms. They limit the risk of tools and small materials slipping off, increasing the protection of people located below the workstation.

They are made of spruce wood, and their ends are fitted with Z275 galvanised sheet steel fittings used to secure the boards in the scaffolding structure. The wood is coated with a waterproof, anti-fungal and anti-slip paint. The coating helps protect the boards against moisture and fungal growth, while the galvanization protects the steel fittings against corrosion.

Toe boards are used in facade scaffolding during insulation, plastering, painting and renovation work. Selecting the appropriate length allows the protection to be matched to the dimensions of the working bay.

You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.

Typical use

  • assembly and anchoring of the scaffolding
  • matching the facade and terrain
  • completing the set
