Wheel – from the EDX70 scaffolding manufacturer
The wheel for the travelling beam is a component of the undercarriage of a mobile scaffolding. It allows the position of the structure to be changed, making it easier to set up the work station at successive locations for assembly, painting and renovation work.
The wheel diameter is 200 mm, and the permissible load of a single wheel reaches 1000 kg. The wheel is fitted with a brake, which allows rolling to be locked once the scaffolding has been positioned. The use of an adjustable 38 mm threaded tube allows it to be used without the need for additional base jacks.
Used together with the travelling beam, it makes it possible to create a mobile base for the structure. However, the load capacity of a single wheel does not determine the permissible load of the entire scaffolding — it also depends on the other components of the undercarriage, the load distribution and the configuration of the structure.
You can order it together with a scaffolding set or individually, to fill gaps or replace worn parts.
